Description: A bill to require the Secretary of Defense to permit members of the Armed Forces serving outside the United States under arduous conditions pursuant to an assignment or duty detail as a part of Operation Desert Shield to participate in a savings program for members of the Armed Forces assigned for permanent duty outside the United States, and to amend title 10, United States Code, to waive the limitation on the amount which may be deposited in a savings program by or for members of the Armed Forces determined to be in a missing status in connection with the Persian Gulf conflict.
